PANAMA CITY, Fla., April 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- HALO Maritime Defense Systems (HALO) announced today an award from The Naval Sea Systems Command of $3,484,295.00 for a two year contract to provide a fully automated waterside security barrier at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia. This is a continuation of the long standing relationship between HALO and the US Navy, and is the first operational contract with the US Navy for HALO. DURHAM — CairnSurgical and RyTek Medical received Granite State Technology Innovation Grants in the latest round of funding from the New Hampshire Innovation Research Center, a state program administered by the University of New Hampshire. 

Turbocam Energy Solutions and HALO Maritime Defense Systems Inc. received grants in a previous round of funding that was awarded in July, UNH said Monday.
